A320 ELECTRIC System

This podcast provides a short introduction to the Airbus A320 electrical system. It will explain the different generators, power supply during normal operations, and emergency procedures. The talk also covers the functioning of the power distribution system, the Ground and Auxiliary Power Control Unit, and the automatic load-shedding feature.

A320 HYDRAULIC System

This podcast covers the hydraulic system explaining its three independent systems: green, yellow, and blue, each responsible for powering various aircraft components. It also highlights key components such as the Power Transfer Unit (PTU), Ram Air Turbine (RAT), and priority valves, while discussing emergency procedures and abnormal situations like hydraulic pump failure and overheat scenarios.

A320 PNEUMATIC System

The pneumatic system of the Airbus A320 supplies high-pressure air to various aircraft systems, primarily sourced from the engines, APU (Auxiliary Power Unit), and an external ground connection. It is monitored and controlled by Bleed Monitoring Computers (BMCs), which ensure system functionality and safety, with information and warnings displayed to pilots on the ECAM.
